CLAi is a video production company in the San Francisco Bay area, with the highest quality facilities and equipment, and with the ability to take it anywhere, nationwide, in their all in one mobile on-location production unit.
CLAi is a very knowledgeable production company in the San Francisco Bay area, they direct, produce and design and script for sound and voiceover recording. They also work, as HD and SD digital editors and color correctors and digital archiving personnel for Indie features, Product videos, highlight reels and music videos. To shoot these videos in multi camera shooting or single camera shooting CLAi can use their RED One 4k Digital Cinema Camera, their Sony HDW-F900 HDCam, or any of their Sony HDV Cameras. These cameras are customizable to wear, RED, Angeniux, canon or Nikon Lenses. More support can be brought in for location audio recording or lighting. For audio recording we use Tram, Sennheiser and Lectrosonic audio equipment, and for lighting we us Kino Flo, Lowell, force 4 and Altman lights. Vinten, Miller and Gitzo support can also be brought in if needed. Our on location DIT can also edit if need be, using our portable Final Cut Pro 4k HD suite. CLAi is proud to be known for their work in creating of business to business media programs and Business to consumer programs as well. Along with these they regularly produce PR releases and Bonus Programs for DVDs and other outputted medias. Where CLAi really flourishes is in the TV Documentary, entertainment and education fields. CLAi is able to output any of their programs to Interactive DVDs, DVD Motion Design programs and Internet Videos. CLAi also works in the animation fields as well, working with Animated 3D graphics to create 3D characters and also by using video compositing to help generate all of the characters they create, The animation that they do is done using Discreet 3D Animation systems or Combustion 3D Compositing systems. It is not only over the computer that they perform these jobs but they also work live events where they create, Application Videos, Presentation Videos and Educational Videos. They also shoot Product Launches, Event Openers, Promotions and they also film Trade shows to make features. These programs are able to be edited on any of their 4 Final Cut Pro 4k HD suite, or on Avid HD. All of this media is stored on 24 TB + HD Hard Disk storage spaces. When this has all been filmed they can do online conforming, online finishing, cross-media outputs and off line content editing, Digital dvd encoding and internet video integration over the web. All of the Decks that are used at CLAi provide the ability to digitize many different types of media, these include their, Sony F500 HDCam Multistandard Editor, Sony JH1 HDCam Player with Firewire, either of their Panasonic editors be it DVCProHD or DVCPro50. They also have a Sony Betacam SP editor. To transfer footage to DVD they use Scenarist SD-2000 DVD Encode & Author and DVD/CD 50x Replicator/Printer Bay. Amazingly many of these types of equipment can be used on their very own 32ft Hurricane RV Mobile Production Unit.
